Throughout NAPMW’s 40 year history, education has always been at the foundation of it’s existence.

We in Las Vegas have embraced Education as one of our main focuses since our beginning. Each year we hold classes for both new mortgage professionals as well as the most seasoned veteran.

In 2004 the Mortgage Lending Division of the State of Nevada granted NAPMW Las Vegas the ability to offer classes for Continuing Education Units. This prestigious designation solidifies NAPMW as a leader in Education in the mortgage lending industry.

Our members take Education very seriously. NAPMW at the National level has an entire division devoted to education, the Institute of Mortgage Lending (IML). The IML developed its own mortgage lending curriculum to foster education in our industry. Students are required to learn a comprehensive base of information about the mortgage lending industry including a history of lending, past practices, as well as current laws and guidelines. After intensive learning and study, the students take an exam to reach the first level of designation – Graduate of Mortgage Lending (GML). Further study and classes offer the option to reach the Master of Mortgage Lending (MML).

In Las Vegas, our Association of NAPMW has 6 members who have earned their GML designation: Cynde Beer, Liz Roberts-Fajardo, Kathy Potter, Barbara Rajabi, Cheryl Richmond, & Jackie Taylor.
